Trust Us, It's Not Another Gala...
Colloquially referred to in most communities as “I’m-sorry-I-have-something-that-night”, a Gala is a formal, festive celebration, typically thrown at the Uptown Hotel attended by men and women who mistake the guy at Table #2 for Morgan Freeman and didn’t realize there was a vegan option for dinner. This is NOT another Gala. That’s right. There will be no chicken plates, no seating chart, and no honorees. Instead, we invite you and your guests to join us for THE Wine Tasting Fundraiser. (You might have noticed that the word Gala is absent for the event’s title. That is intentional as we did not want to be misleading.)

Meet this years celebrity guests!
Donna Maine
Donna is an LA-based comedian who, knowing the struggle of being a divorced working mom, decided the natural next step for her was stand-up comedy. Her comedic insights run the gamut including middle-aged dating, relationships, children becoming adults, and parents becoming children. A tenacious late bloomer, Donna has been performing all over Southern California from churches and charity events to comedy clubs and sports bars. She is now branching out and bringing the laughter to places several miles outside of Southern California. She is also available to play a cougar or a soccer mom.
Kristina Tsanova
This year our live and studio violinist is Kristina Tsanova! You know how we love our performances in the styles of classical, pop, house, alternative, jazz. So here she is. Kristina has had the pleasure to work with such notable conductors and soloists as Marin Alsop, Gidon Kremer, Placido Domingo, Martha Argerich, Joshua Bell, Christoph Eschenbach, Midori Goto, Valeriy Gergiev, Dennis Russel Davies, Maxim Vengerov. If you are not sure you have heard her work before, how about this: You will most certainly recognize the sound of her performing recorded scores for well know films and medias such as The Crown, The Witcher, Assassins Creed, and Solo: A Star Wars Story and others.
Richard Weiss
Looks who’s stopping by! Richard Weiss has toured the country performing in major comedy venues including the *Laugh Factory, *Fantasy Springs Casino, *Galaxy Theater, *Carolines (N.Y.), *The Fox Theater (Redlands),* The Copacabana (Palm Springs), *Standup New York , *The Indio Performing Arts Center, as well as The Egyptian Theater (Park City, Utah). When not in California, Richard brings his brand of humor across the country in his “Stand Up to Addiction” show. As a joke writer he’s written for some top comedians, who have performed his material on television and comedy specials. Additional writing credits include the comedic play *Sketch In The City, *National Lampoon magazine, *My Joke Book (Richard Weiss & friends), the *Humor Times, *Spaz comics & *Funny Or Die. Richard was voted “Best Standup” comedian at the 2014 Coachella Valley Comedy Festival, where he returns each year to host the Standup competition and teach a comedy workshop. The funnyman can fit most any event where he can work clean or perform for mature audiences, as he does in his casino & college shows.
