Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims of the most recent wildfires occurring in Los Angeles and San Bernardino County, California region. We understand how burdensome natural and man-made disasters can be on residents, entire communities, and municipalities. We too were affected by the wind driven fire activity when a nearby plant nursery caught fire causing several acres of land to burn in its path.
Giving Tuesday Donors gave something that meant something!
Congrats on an amazing #GivingTuesday! We’re seeing some great initial results and stories about how people gave time and dollars to the D’Andre D. Lampkin Foundation on #GivingTuesday. We are so inspired by your generosity – thank you for all the work, creativity and compassion you put into our campaign and into spreading the word about our movement.
We are getting ready for Giving Tuesday. We want you to get in on the action!
What’s #GivingTuesday? What’s the big deal?
Today is the day we set aside to give thanks for our family and the many friends we have in our lives.
I tend to be thankful for everyone who made this Thanksgiving Holiday possible… Especially those who are working and making the holiday progress in ways that are unseen. My thanks extends from the law enforcement officer, soldier serving overseas, soup kitchen worker, to the grocery store cashier.
Every year, we set aside a day to remember the sacrifices of those who protect our freedoms, ensure our tranquility, and guarantee our resilience. We celebrate veterans of past wars and those still serving at home and abroad. We also celebrate veterans who gave the ultimate sacrifice and those who continue to fight so that we may have a chance to make our union more perfect everyday.
The D’Andre D. Lampkin Foundation is pleased to announce the launch of the Foundation’s 2018 Scholarship Program in service to students who participate in social good initiatives and programs and can envision becoming a part of a more socially responsible corporate climate.
We are incredibly grateful for everyone’s support of the D’Andre D. Lampkin Foundation Bingo Fundraiser.
Last weekend we held a Bingo Game Fundraiser. It was a huge success. Thanks to our community of supporters, donors, and volunteers, we are able to continue our mission of building stronger, more equitable communities together.
Disaster to Resilience: the difference is YOU! We have recently updated our Volunteer Registry. Our new application allows for our community of volunteers to include any information that may be useful during outreach efforts in and around your community. Information such as special skills, work information, and credentials are useful when forming teams of volunteers to fulfill specific missions.
Michael Gracia stood to his feet and smiles because of the generosity of our donor community. He now considers you a part of his family and his brother wanted to let you know how much they appreciate your kindness.
It is with heartfelt sorrow that we have been following the tragic developments ensuing from the violent shooting in Las Vegas, Nevada on Sunday October 1, 2017. This was especially personal for me as I learned two of the victims, Michael & Summer Gracia, were shot by the attacker. I have had the privilege of knowing the Gracia Family and serving side by side as a law enforcement professional with Michael Gracia’s brother.
