Healthcare Hero Reception

As part of National Preparedness Month, the D’Andre D. Lampkin Foundation is partnering with Care Staffing Professionals to host a reception where members of the community can meet and speak to healthcare workers working in and around the greater Ontario region. National Preparedness Month is an observance each September to raise awareness about the importance of preparing for disasters and emergencies that could happen at any time. The 2021 theme is “Prepare to Protect. Preparing for disasters is protecting everyone you love.”

Our healthcare heroes have spent the last two years fighting the COVID-19 pandemic. Come and meet some of the people working in your healthcare facilities and the leaders who are coordinating healthcare workers to fill staffing shortages in healthcare facilities throughout the region.

Healthcare workers and individuals who are interested in healthcare-related careers are encouraged to attend this meet and greet opportunity.
