Neighbors Helping Neighbors Planning Workshop

As our neighborhoods get older, so do the people living in them. And then there are times when our neighbors could use a helping hand or a skillset they never learned.

Over the years, Foundation volunteers recognize a common theme in many of our projects: Empathy is key to demonstrating love for thy neighbor. We demonstrated the power of empathy in Los Angles, Houston TX, Ontario, and Agoura Hills following natural and manmade disasters. As we consider formally introducing a new program, let’s see where else this can work.
