Giving Tuesday D'Andre D. Lampkin Foundation

A Global Generosity Movement

The Countdown to the World’s Biggest Day of Generosity is On
November 30, 2021

About #GivingTuesday

GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement unleashing the power of radical generosity. GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Since then, it has grown into a year-round global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.

Join the movement and give – each Tuesday and every day – whether it’s some of your time, a donation, or the power of your voice in your local community.

It’s a simple idea:  whether it’s making someone smile, helping a neighbor or stranger out, showing up for an issue or people we care about, or giving some of what we have to those who need our help, every act of generosity counts and everyone has something to give.

Show Your Generosity

By now, you have probably seen several emails and posts on social media from other nonprofits asking for your contribution. But I would like to share with you why the Lampkin Foundation is different:

  • 100% of donations are used to support our programs and initiatives.
  • NONE of your contributions go to the staff and board members. The Lampkin Foundation is comprised of an all-volunteer Board.
  • The Lampkin Foundation was recently recognized by both the State of California Controllers Office and the City of Ontario for its efforts to address health, education, and community wellness issues.
  • The Lampkin Foundation has earned Guidestar’s Platinum Seal of Transparency (The Highest Level of Recognition Offered by GuideStar) for accurately demonstrating and measuring our progress and results.
  • We are a verifiable State and Federal tax-exempt organization (501(c)(3)), which means your contributions are tax-deductible and monitored.

We continue to work hard to earn your trust and ensure your donations go toward addressing issue areas that matter to you.

Communities thrive when people collaborate to tackle some of the biggest issues facing our neighborhoods. Not only does giving to the Lampkin Foundation make you feel good, but it is empowering.

Giving strengthens personal values. Whether the reason is religious, personal, or based on principle, giving reaffirms your commitment to helping others. Having the power to improve lives is a privilege that comes with its own sense of obligation. Giving to the Lampkin Foundation reinforces your personal values and helps you to live a life that is true to your own ethical beliefs.

Our goal for 2020 is to expand our food pantry capacity through our DNA Initiative, make significant contributions to long-term disaster recovery efforts and help communities rebuild following disasters through our Disaster Relief Effort, and ensure access to higher education for students who are global thinkers through our Social Good Scholarship Fund.

We hope you will join us for Giving Tuesday and support our mission to create positive opportunities and change for individuals, communities, and environments.

Thank You for Your Donation

Everyday, people go to their local coffee shop and spend $5 to $10 without ever thinking about it. Imagine if you skipped one trip to support programs and initiatives that foster positive change in communities. As we’ve learned the art of physical distancing and maintain health and safety guidelines over the past nine months, one thing has become abundantly clear: We need connection. We are interdependent. We collaborate and work together even while we stand apart. We need one another because we are stronger together.

Tax Deductible Donation

Reciepts are issued automatically via email. As a courtesy, Annual Donor Reports listing all of your contributions throughout the year are sent to you prior to the annual tax filing period. The Lampkin Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization operating programs throughout California that have a significant impact in a wide range of issue areas, including education, economic development, civic engagement, health and wellness, and providing healthy alternatives for under-served communities.
