Families Against Wrong Way Drivers (FAWWD)

Families Against Wrong Way Drivers (FAWWD) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization founded in memory of Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Custody Assistant Anthony D. Thompson, who tragically lost his life to a wrong way driver. FAWWD is dedicated to raising awareness, supporting families impacted by wrong way driving incidents, and advocating for policies and prevention measures that make roads safer. Through community events, scholarships, and partnerships, FAWWD turns tragedy into action, creating a legacy of hope, advocacy, and change.
