The Community Gathering Hub serves as a convener to respond to multiple community needs. Current funding needs include:

Sounds of the Community Studio

The Sounds of the Community series is a music and speaker series designed to support public engagement, support early-career storytellers, and educate community members on the significance of human understanding and cultural perspectives in leadership. By curating stories and sharing them online, we aim to provide a platform for community members to access these valuable narratives even after the events. Current funding needs include:

Brief History

The work of the D’Andre D. Lampkin Foundation began in 2011 with the Breath Giving Portraits Project and D’Andre Lampkin providing funding to high school students for higher education endeavors. The D’Andre D. Lampkin Foundation was established in 2017 as a Human Service Organization. We are a State and Federal tax-exempt organization focused on societal problems, the prevention of those problems, and viable solutions. In short, we are a nonprofit that makes life better for the people we serve.

At the core of its mission, the D’Andre D. Lampkin Foundation strives to create positive opportunities and change. Their unwavering commitment to sponsoring and creating impactful programs and initiatives is transforming communities and uplifting individuals who seek happier and healthier lives.

Imagine a world where communities are strong, engaged, and resilient. A world where self-reliance and sustainable ingenuity flourish through grassroots efforts. This is the vision that the D’Andre D. Lampkin Foundation tirelessly works towards, day in and day out.

One of the key ways the organization brings about change is through our Community Food Pantry. In a time when hunger and food insecurity are prevalent, this pantry provides a lifeline to those in need. By supporting this initiative, you are not only alleviating hunger but also nurturing the well-being of individuals and families.

Another crucial aspect of the foundation’s work is our focus on education. Through college scholarships and our community classroom, we empower individuals with the tools they need to reach their full potential. By investing in education, we are investing in the future of our society, fostering a generation of leaders and change-makers.

The D’Andre D. Lampkin Foundation also recognizes the importance of fostering strong bonds within communities. Our Community Networking Hub serves as a vital resource for individuals and organizations, bringing people together to collaborate, support one another, and build a stronger collective.

And let’s not forget the joy and hope we spread through our annual toy drive and school supply drive. These initiatives bring smiles to the faces of children who may otherwise go without, ensuring they have the tools needed to excel academically and the happiness that comes from receiving a cherished toy.

In times of crisis, the foundation is there to provide disaster relief education and response. Their quick action and unwavering support help communities rebuild and recover, bringing hope and relief to those who need it most.

The majority of the Lampkin Foundation’s charitable work is performed and implemented by our volunteer staff and partnering organizations. We currently operate programs within the United States that have a significant impact in a wide range of issue areas, including education, economic development, civic engagement, health and wellness, and providing resources for under-served communities.

The D’Andre D Lampkin Foundation is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to promoting and improving the quality of life for individuals and communities. Our mission aims to provide access to resources that foster and facilitate positive change through community partnerships. This mission is important because it helps to address and alleviate some of the most pressing issues facing communities today, including food scarcity, disaster preparedness education, and civic participation. By working to create partnerships and provide resources, the foundation is able to help individuals and communities thrive and achieve their full potential. The work of the D’Andre D Lampkin Foundation is essential in building stronger, more resilient communities, and promoting a brighter future for all.
