FAWWD Memorial 5K Run and Walk for a Cause

Join Families Against Wrong Way Drivers (FAWWD) as they host a 5K run to help support our community’s youth and raise funds for their academic scholarship program. Scholarships are awarded by the Officer Anthony Thompson Foundation as they raise awareness of their public safety campaign to help make freeways safer.
Attendees and runners are encouraged to come dressed in 90’s running gear. Some suggestions include Adidas and FILA track suits, Reebok sneakers, and Kangol hats.

Registration is $40 and includes:
- 5K T-Shirt
- Lunch provided by “Bunz” Burger Food Truck
FAWWD Mission:
Families Against Wrong Way Drivers (FAWWD) organization raise awareness to reduce the total number of deaths and/or injuries due to drivers entering the freeway via exit ramps. FAWWD will continue to raise awareness for low profile ” TRAFFIC SPIKES’ to be installed on freeway exit/off ramps enabling drivers to enter the freeway the wrong way.
