🏆 Event Details:
Join us for the 3rd Annual Knocking Out Breast Cancer Boxing Show, an inspiring youth boxing event dedicated to raising awareness for breast cancer and supporting young athletes in our community. Youth boxers from across the region will step into the ring to showcase their talent, discipline, and determination. Winners will receive a Championship Belt in recognition of their hard work and sportsmanship.

This event takes place at a Los Angeles County Parks & Recreation facility within the East Los Angeles Station and Parks Bureau patrol area. Deputies are encouraged to attend and show their support for our youth. These young athletes look up to the Deputies they see regularly on patrol and view them as mentors and role models. Your presence makes a difference — come out, cheer them on, and help bring awareness to the fight against breast cancer while strengthening community ties.

D’Andre Lampkin is a community leader, law enforcement officer, and founder of the Lampkin Foundation, dedicated to long-term recovery, public service, and building resilient communities across Los Angeles and beyond.
Venue
Housed in a refurbished former fire station, the club was renamed in memory of Eddie Heredia, its first champion who passed away from leukemia at age 17. This club offers structured youth boxing programs—from beginner to advanced Olympic-style—as well as fitness, conditioning, and character development. Its mission includes nurturing discipline, self-control, sportsmanship, healthy lifestyles, and personal growth through athletic training.
As an event or training venue, it supports community engagement through tournaments, exhibitions, outreach programs, and youth development initiatives. Notably, one of its members represented the U.S. at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, underscoring its legacy of nurturing talent.
