The Los Angeles Region Long-Term Recovery (LTR) / Community Recovery Organization continues to convene partners to:
- Support and prepare community long-term recovery groups (LTRGs).
- Report on recovery status and address action items.
- Shorten the critical timeframe between disaster impact and community recovery.
This regional meeting provides an opportunity (with focus on the Palisades and Eaton fires) to understand how VOAD/NGO partners at the local, regional, state, and national levels are working together to support long-term recovery in impacted communities.
Goals
- Adapt alongside the communities.
- Embrace the 4Cs: Communication, Coordination, Collaboration, Cooperation.
- Build relationships that strengthen recovery.
- Bring equitable, efficient resources to those impacted by the 2025 LA fires.
