About the Meeting

The Los Angeles Region Long-Term Recovery (LTR) / Community Recovery Organization continues to convene partners to:

  • Support and prepare community long-term recovery groups (LTRGs).
  • Report on recovery status and address action items.
  • Shorten the critical timeframe between disaster impact and community recovery.

This regional meeting provides an opportunity (with focus on the Palisades and Eaton fires) to understand how VOAD/NGO partners at the local, regional, state, and national levels are working together to support long-term recovery in impacted communities.

Goals

  • Adapt alongside the communities.
  • Embrace the 4Cs: Communication, Coordination, Collaboration, Cooperation.
  • Build relationships that strengthen recovery.
  • Bring equitable, efficient resources to those impacted by the 2025 LA fires.
  • Provide a place for survivors, partners, and stakeholders to land, convene, and connect.
