Working Together to Build Stronger, More Resilient Communities

The D’Andre D. Lampkin Foundation welcomes partnerships with organizations, agencies, institutions, businesses, schools, faith-based groups, nonprofits, civic leaders, and community stakeholders who share our commitment to building stronger, more resilient communities.

Partnership is at the heart of the Foundation’s work. No single organization can meet every community need alone. Stronger communities are built when people and institutions work together, share resources, coordinate efforts, and create practical solutions that support individuals, families, youth, neighborhoods, and communities.

Whether your organization is interested in program collaboration, public education, youth development, disaster preparedness, food security, health and wellness, volunteer engagement, civic education, or long-term community resilience, there is a place for you in this work.

Why Partnership Matters

Community challenges are complex. Hunger, disaster recovery, youth opportunity, health and wellness, civic participation, economic mobility, and neighborhood resilience are all connected. Addressing these needs requires trust, coordination, and collaboration across sectors.

The Foundation works with partners who bring different strengths to the table, including subject-matter expertise, lived experience, volunteers, facilities, outreach capacity, funding, supplies, training, public trust, and community relationships.

When organizations partner effectively, communities benefit from stronger networks, reduced duplication, better communication, and more responsive support.

Ways We Partner

Program Collaboration

The Foundation partners with organizations to support programs focused on youth development, hunger relief, disaster recovery, health and wellness, scholarships, volunteer service, civic engagement, and community education.

Program partnerships may include shared outreach, resource coordination, referrals, volunteer support, educational workshops, school-based programs, community events, or direct service initiatives.

School and Youth Partnerships

The Foundation values partnerships with schools, educators, youth organizations, career pathway programs, and student leadership initiatives.

These partnerships help expand mentorship, scholarship awareness, civic engagement, youth sports, entrepreneurship education, workforce readiness, and career exposure.

A strong example of this work is the Foundation’s growing partnership with Chaffey High School and Amazon to support a Logistics & Supply Chain class for seniors, helping students gain certifications, hands-on training, and potential career pathways after graduation.

Disaster Preparedness and Recovery Partnerships

The Foundation partners with emergency managers, public agencies, nonprofits, volunteer organizations, and disaster recovery networks to help communities prepare for, respond to, and recover from emergencies.

This work includes disaster preparedness education, insurance and recovery presentations, volunteer coordination, resource connection, long-term recovery support, and community resilience planning.

The Foundation’s membership in Emergency Network Los Angeles (ENLA) strengthens this work by connecting the Foundation to the Los Angeles County unit of the National Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster and Southern California VOAD network.

Food Security and Basic Needs Partnerships

The Foundation works with partners who are committed to reducing hunger, supporting families, strengthening the local safety net, and helping residents access food and essential resources.

Food security partnerships may include food donations, distribution support, volunteer teams, referral networks, public agency coordination, faith-based support, business sponsorship, or shared outreach to families facing hardship.

Health and Wellness Partnerships

The Foundation welcomes partnerships that support physical health, mental and emotional wellness, prevention education, resource connection, family support, and community well-being.

Health and wellness partners may include healthcare providers, public health agencies, mental health organizations, wellness educators, community clinics, fitness partners, and organizations focused on prevention, healing, and quality of life.

Civic Engagement and Community Education Partnerships

The Foundation partners with civic leaders, public agencies, schools, community organizations, and subject-matter experts to provide public education, workshops, community conversations, preparedness presentations, and learning opportunities.

These partnerships help residents become more informed, connected, prepared, and engaged in shaping the future of their communities.

Building Toward the Center for Community Resilience

The Foundation’s long-term vision for the Center for Community Resilience depends on strong partnerships. The Center is intended to become a community-based hub where residents, volunteers, donors, public agencies, nonprofits, schools, businesses, faith-based organizations, and civic partners can work together to support preparedness, recovery, food security, youth development, education, health and wellness, and community service.

Partnerships are essential to making that vision possible. By working together, we can build the infrastructure, programs, relationships, and trust needed to help communities prepare before crisis, respond during hardship, and recover in ways that make them stronger.

A Shared Commitment to Impact

The best partnerships are built on shared purpose. The D’Andre D. Lampkin Foundation seeks partners who believe that community resilience is built through service, trust, coordination, and action.

Together, we can expand opportunity, strengthen families, support youth, prepare communities, mobilize volunteers, and create lasting impact.
