See Hector Flex His Power 1024 1024 Stories That Build

Hector is five years old and, he too, already believes he is strong enough to make his community stronger. Last Saturday was the second time he and his family participated in our Gardening for Healthier Communities series.

Thanks to donors and supporters, like you, the D’Andre D Lampkin Foundation is not only able to sponsor and create programs and initiatives that lead to the development of stronger communities, we are able to get people THINKING about how they can make a positive impact – no matter how old they are.

We have a vision for communities that are strong, fully engaged, and resilient. And thanks to community members like Hector, we are reminded that there are no limitations to what we can accomplish when we work together.

Thank you to all who have participated, supported, or donated to our Developing Neighborhood Agriculture Initiative thus far. Your kindness and generosity is making a difference. Thank you!

Stay tuned for details about the next and last Gardening for Healthier Communities Day in 2018, taking place on June 23rd. We hope to see you there. Thank you!

Access to fresh produce is crucial for urban communities because it provides essential nutrients for overall health and well-being. Unfortunately, many urban areas lack access to fresh fruits and vegetables, leading to higher rates of obesity, diabetes, and other health issues. That’s where the D’Andre D Lampkin Foundation comes in. We address food scarcity in urban areas by financially backing local efforts to provide access to fresh produce through community gardens, farmers markets, and education programs. By working to increase access to healthy food options, the foundation is helping to improve the health and quality of life for individuals and families in urban communities.
