We are 501(c)(3) Exempt

Because you believed in the mission… Last month, we began the long journey to seek 501(c)(3) tax exempt status from the Internal Revenue Service. Part of the process involved outlining our overall approach to charitable giving and the work we have done thus far.

The litmus test to determine whether an organization deserves tax exempt status can take up to two years. We are thankful to have a team of volunteers who are committed to social good, accountability, and corporate responsibility. Because the importance of our programs and initiatives were apparent, we were able to obtain 501(c)(3) status in just 3 weeks.

In the weeks and months to come, we’ll ask grassroot supporters like you to meet with your friends, family, and organization leaders to consider making a contribution to the Lampkin Foundation. Please, help us begin expand our projects and initiatives that impact and benefit the largest number of people in a region in the largest way possible.
