As communities across the nation prepare to celebrate Independence Day, the D’Andre D. Lampkin Foundation is proud to participate in the City of Ontario‘s 4th of July Independence Day Parade with a special tribute to one of America’s most influential architects, Paul Revere Williams.

This year’s celebration carries special significance as our nation commemorates 250 years of American independence while the City of Ontario recognizes the 100th anniversary of its historic Post Office, one of the many civic landmarks designed by Williams that continues to serve the community today.

Paul Revere Williams broke barriers throughout his distinguished career, designing more than 2,000 projects that helped define the architectural character of California and communities across the United States. His work reminds us that thoughtful design has the power to inspire generations and strengthen the places we call home.

The Foundation’s parade float celebrates Williams’ extraordinary legacy while reflecting our own mission:

Building Stronger, More Resilient Communities, Together.

Community resilience extends beyond disaster preparedness. It includes preserving our shared history, investing in future generations, strengthening civic institutions, and honoring the individuals whose vision continues to shape our communities.

The Foundation is honored to recognize Paul Revere Williams’ enduring contributions to architecture while celebrating Ontario’s rich history and America’s enduring spirit of freedom, service, and opportunity.

The D’Andre D. Lampkin Foundation wishes everyone a safe, joyful, and meaningful Independence Day.

Happy Fourth of July!
