Mia and Damien Melle

Last week, we received a visit from Mia and Damien Melle to the D’Andre D Lampkin Foundation Sounds of the Community studio. Mia and Damien, owners of Holt x Palm, a unique home décor and furniture store, participated in the latest episode of our Sounds of the Community podcast series titled, “Crafting Connections: The “Art” In Partnerships.”

This episode was a beautiful collaboration between Mia, Damien, and Jordyn Brown of Brave Spaces. Listeners had the opportunity to hear Mia’s insights on the significance of collaboration in both personal and business relationships, as she also serves as the Chairwoman of the newly formed Public Art Advisory Commission in the city of Ontario. She shared her cultural perspectives and experiences in operating their joint venture.

Damien also joined the conversation, offering his unique perspective on the technical business aspects of Holt x Palm, which features not only a home décor and furniture store but also an eclectic residential real estate headquarters.

This event was produced by RR Productions and is part of our Sounds of the Community series, which aims to support public engagement, early-career storytellers, and educate community members on the power of cultural understanding.

We encourage you to listen to this insightful episode and gain valuable knowledge about crafting connections and building partnerships in both personal and business settings. It is a great opportunity to learn from successful entrepreneurs like Mia and Damien, who are making a positive impact in our community.

We appreciate your continued support and look forward to sharing more features from our Sounds of the Community studio soon.
