US Celebrating 249 Years of Freedom & Purpose Together

As fireworks light up the skies and communities come together in celebration, we at the D’Andre D Lampkin Foundation wish you and your family a very Happy 4th of July!

This year marks 249 years since the adoption of the Declaration of Independence, a powerful reminder of our nation’s founding ideals of liberty, justice, and unity. Across the country, celebrations have already begun to build toward next year’s historic 250th anniversary, and with it, a renewed call to reflect on where we’ve come from and where we’re going.

At the heart of our founding documents lies a timeless aspiration:
“…to form a more perfect Union…”

Those words from the Preamble to the U.S. Constitution are more than poetic; they are a commitment to progress, unity, and continuous improvement. They call us to build a nation that is stronger, fairer, and more inclusive than the day before.

This same spirit lives in the mission of the D’Andre D Lampkin Foundation.
